The Calabogie Kick-Off may be the one of the younger tournaments on the DGA schedule, but being the first of the season, it always gets the juices flowing. The tournament is played as an 18 hole, 4 man scramble followed by a night of debauchery and lighting couches on fire.

The tournament is held at Calabogie Highlands Golf Resort in Calabogie, ON. The track boasts many blind tee shots and challenging holes. The biggest factor for the course is the elements. The course can play short if it is dry, but if the wind whips in off the lake the teams may be in for a tough day.

This tournament (thankfully) has taken over from the May Manderly Mayhem as the season opener for the DGA. Getting your name on the Degens Cup starts first with winning at Calabogie
