The second major and final tournament of the season may be new on the schedule, but the Fall Classic may be the most important tournament of the year. This is where the Degens Cup champion is crowned.
Full major points are handed out here and only 2 players are deemed champions. This is a handicapped event, which may lead to some sandbagging during the year (Casey Floyd), but the DGA consists of mostly honest men.
The tournament’s inaugural year was played at Oaks of Cobden on Saturday and Dragonfly on Sunday, but going forward will be Whitetail instead of Oaks of Cobden.
As a perfect end to summer, this tournament has taken it’s toll on players in the past, going too hard on Friday and Saturday night to compete on Sunday.
Format: 2 man, handicapped best ball
Previous Winners:
2022: Casey Floyd and Brent Daviualt: -13 net (lol…sandbaggers)
